Perth businesses search for SEO help more than almost anywhere else in Australia.
“SEO Perth” alone is typed into Google thousands of times a month, and the agencies answering that demand range from a hundred-person Fremantle firm to consultants who personally run every campaign. That spread is useful, but it also makes the shortlist hard to build. Two agencies can quote the same monthly fee and deliver completely different work.
This list covers ten SEO agencies with a real base in Perth or its suburbs. Every figure below comes from the agency’s own website: addresses, founding years, pricing where it is published, and the results each agency chooses to put its name to. Where an agency does not publish something, we say so rather than guess.

Dilate started in 2012 out of a home theatre and has grown into one of the largest Perth-founded digital agencies, with close to a hundred strategists, SEO specialists and developers working from Queen Victoria Street in Fremantle. It has been a Google Premier Partner since 2018 and also holds Meta and LinkedIn partner status, and in 2024 it acquired Aligned Agency.
The SEO offer covers keyword strategy, on-page and off-page work, website migrations, ecommerce SEO, Google Business Profile optimisation and Generative Engine Optimisation for AI search. Campaigns run in 90-day growth cycles on a fixed monthly fee with no lock-in contract. Its published Kustom Timber case study reports 200% revenue growth over two and a half years and a tenfold rise in organic traffic over three, and other named clients include Vermeer Equipment, Spinifex Sheds and Pure Running.
PWD was known as Perth Web Design when it started building Perth websites in 2007, and it now lists 42 team members at its West Leederville office. What sets it apart is its paperwork: it holds ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certification and is a WALGA Preferred Supplier, which matters to local government and any buyer whose procurement team asks about information security. It is also a Google Premier Partner, and clients meet directly with the owners.
Its local SEO case studies are specific. AllSealed Shower Repairs reached more than 235 leads a month at a cost per lead of $35.82 with 430 keywords in the top ten, Perth Arbor Services has held the top spot for over ten years, and SBR Collective saw online sales rise more than 800%. PWD also offers GEO work for visibility in AI answers.
Distl combines branding, website builds and search marketing, with more than 27 Perth-based marketers at its Jolimont studio and every SEO task kept in-house. That suits businesses mid-rebrand or mid-rebuild, where SEO decisions and design decisions need to be made by the same people rather than handed between agencies.
The team is open about its toolkit, naming Ahrefs, Semrush, SE Ranking, Screaming Frog, Surfer SEO, Majestic, Search Console and GA4. Services stretch into penalty recovery, digital PR, Shopify SEO and GEO for ChatGPT and Perplexity. Published results include a 211% lift in non-branded traffic for Timpano Legal, 153% more Google clicks for Summit Homes Group and 55% more conversions for Adage Furniture, all on no lock-in terms.
Digital Hitmen has operated from Attadale since 2016 and focuses squarely on online stores: product and category page optimisation, Google Merchant Center, and organic product listings in Google Shopping. It won at both the 2026 Global Search Awards and the 2026 APAC Search Awards.
It is one of the few Perth agencies to publish its prices, from $1,900 to $6,800 a month depending on whether you buy 12 or 60 hours. Engagements begin with a six-month sprint and then roll month to month, cancellable at any time. The Online Flooring Store case study shows a 328% rise in organic conversions, and Genesis Dental saw organic bookings climb 878%.
Led by director Ben Tippett from Wanneroo, Perth Digital Edge builds local SEO down to the suburb, which is how Perth tradies and service businesses actually get found. It also handles enterprise, technical and international SEO, and it is a Google Partner, an Ahrefs partner agency and a member of the Australian Web Industry Association.
Pricing is published: $2,000 to $2,800 a month for smaller campaigns and $3,000 to $5,500 for mid-market work, with no lock-in contracts at all. The agency lists 17 case studies, including a 440% rise in new users for Ningaloo Reef Station with 182 page-one keywords inside 90 days, 364% traffic growth for Castle Security and a 240% increase in enquiries for Perth Roofing Contractors.
Eurisko works from South Terrace in Fremantle and packages its services around where a business is in its growth, rather than around a list of deliverables. Its AI Search Engine Optimisation packages start from $1,550 a month (ex GST) for businesses scaling from $500k to $1M, and from $2,950 a month for those scaling from $1M to $5M.
The client list is recognisably Western Australian, including Spudshed, Auto Masters, Mouritz Air Conditioning and Granny Flats WA, and its Will & Co case study reports 120% year-on-year revenue growth from organic search. Eurisko is a Google, HubSpot and Meta partner and a Semrush Certified Agency.
Search Scope is a founder-led practice in Victoria Park, set up in 2021 by Dorian Menard, who has worked in SEO since 2013. There are no account managers and no offshore team, so the person on the sales call is the person running the campaign.
Its niche is Google Maps. It recovers suspended Google Business Profiles, claiming around 300 reinstatement cases with a 98% success rate, and builds franchise and multi-location SEO tracked with geo-grid ranking reports. The Local Traffic System costs $1,999 a month plus GST and AI SEO costs $1,499, both month to month with 30 days’ notice and no exit fee. It also cites a top-three national ranking for KPMG Australia on a keyword searched 12,000 times a month, achieved within six months.
Founded and directed by Scott Rowe, Lemonade Digital is a small senior team in North Fremantle whose client list leans heavily towards institutions: the University of Western Australia, Brightwater Care Group, Black Swan Health and the Electrotechnology Training Institute. Those are sectors where content has to be accurate and approvals are slow, and a small experienced team handles that well.
Work runs in three-month sprints across five pillars, covering SEO, local SEO, website migrations and AI search optimisation aimed at getting brands cited in ChatGPT and Google’s AI Mode. Lemonade also runs SEO training, which makes it a good fit for organisations that want to build capability in-house rather than outsource forever. Pricing is not published.
Perth SEO Studio has been getting Perth businesses onto Google’s first page since 2009 from its Subiaco office on Churchill Avenue. Its trophy cabinet is unusually full for a boutique, with SEMrush Search Awards across 2018 to 2022, APAC Search Awards from 2021 to 2023 and a 2018 Search Engine Land Award.
The service list is classic full-stack SEO: on-page, off-page, technical audits, copywriting, local SEO and migrations, now positioned as AI-driven SEO. Case studies are anonymised, such as a 320% lead increase for a WA surgeon, which is common in medical work but means you should ask for a reference you can speak to. Contracts carry no long-term lock-in.
Ben Grummels has run his SEO business in Perth since 1999, which makes this the longest-running practice on the list. He works from Padbury as an owner-operator, using Ahrefs, Moz and Google Trends, and covers AI SEO and GEO, reputation management and SEO training.
Two things make him easy to test before committing. A 40-minute keyword research session and report costs $40, and hotels get a specialist service aimed at winning direct bookings back from the online travel agencies. Nonprofits receive a 50% discount and registered charities are helped free, which is rare anywhere in the industry.
Plenty of Sydney and Melbourne agencies rank for “SEO Perth” using a serviced-office address on St Georges Terrace. That is not automatically a problem, but local SEO rewards local knowledge: which suburbs your customers search from, which competitors own the Maps pack, and how the WA market differs from the east coast. Every agency on this list shows a working Perth or suburban address on its own site. If you are comparing firms on the east coast too, see our lists of the top SEO agencies in Sydney, the top SEO agencies in Melbourne and the top SEO agencies in Australia.
Among the Perth agencies that publish prices, a monthly SEO retainer runs from roughly $1,500 to $6,800. The table below collects the figures published on their own sites. Anything much cheaper usually means very few hours of work each month, and a quote well above this range should come with a clear explanation of the extra scope.
| Agency | Published Monthly Price | Terms |
| Search Scope | $1,499 to $1,999 plus GST | Month to month |
| Eurisko Digital | From $1,550 ex GST | Packaged by revenue stage |
| Digital Hitmen | $1,900 to $6,800 | Six months, then month to month |
| Perth Digital Edge | $2,000 to $5,500 | No lock-in |
Most agencies here work without lock-in contracts or move to month-to-month after an initial period, and that has become the Perth norm. If an agency asks for a 12-month commitment, ask why. Small businesses also have legal protection: since 9 November 2023, the ACCC can penalise businesses for using unfair terms in standard form contracts, and that protection covers small businesses with fewer than 100 employees or under $10 million in annual turnover. A one-sided cancellation clause in an SEO retainer is exactly the kind of term worth checking.
Google publishes advice on hiring an SEO. It suggests asking for examples of past work, whether the agency follows Google Search Essentials, what results to expect and over what timeframe, and whether every change to your site will be shared with you. It also warns against anyone who guarantees rankings, claims a special relationship with Google or will not explain what they plan to do. Those four questions make a good first call with any agency on this list.
More searches now end in an AI answer from Google, ChatGPT or Perplexity rather than a click. Nearly every agency on this list offers some form of Generative Engine Optimisation, but the term covers everything from genuine citation tracking to a rebadged blog package. Ask how they measure whether your brand is being cited, and which AI platforms they check.
An ecommerce store needs product feed and category page expertise, which points to Digital Hitmen or Eurisko. A tradie or multi-location service business needs Maps and suburb-level pages, where Perth Digital Edge, PWD and Search Scope are strongest. Institutions in health or education will find Lemonade Digital’s experience directly relevant, and a larger brand wanting SEO alongside paid media and web will get the widest bench from Dilate or Distl.
Perth has a mature SEO market, and the best agencies in it publish more than most: real addresses, real client names, and in several cases real prices. Start with the specialism that matches your business, check that the agency is genuinely local, and use Google’s own questions on the first call. Any of the ten agencies above can hold that conversation. If your reputation in search matters as much as your rankings, our guide to the top reputation management companies in Australia covers the firms that handle that side, and you can browse more vetted companies in the REVERB companies catalog.
