Mission
NBDY™ creates large-format Christian abstract paintings that translate scripture, prayer and revelation into texture, color and gesture, giving homes, studios and collections work that changes the feeling of a space.
Vision
The vision is a sacred contemporary practice that brings faith into the present tense of modern art. Rooted in the informalist tradition of Tàpies, Burri, Fautrier and Dubuffet, where matter reads as wound and surface as wall, NBDY™ pushes that lineage one step further: the paint does not stay silent, it points toward a face.
Each series grows out of a specific moment in the artist’s life and reading of Scripture, so no two bodies of work look alike. The aim is to keep building that body of work and place it in the private and public spaces where it can be lived with and contemplated.
Company Success Story
Before painting, the artist behind NBDY™ worked in luxury interior design and creative project direction, learning that a space communicates before anyone walks into it. That training led into a demanding entrepreneurial career, until a severe burnout brought everything to a stop.
In that silence, fatherhood and faith reshaped his sense of identity and legacy, and painting arrived unplanned, as both medicine and prayer. He works without preliminary sketches, painting with his whole body so that each canvas becomes a record of movement, energy and surrender.
The name NBDY™ (Nobody) is a deliberate act of self-effacement that points attention away from the artist and toward the sacred subject. Today the studio in Madrid has produced more than a dozen series, from Revelaciones Urbanas to Donde Nace la Fe and Heart of Grace, with originals already hanging in private homes and collections. Its next exhibition is set for Patricia Cancelo Art Gallery in Barcelona in November and December 2026.
