AI overview reputation management deals with one specific problem: you search your own name or company on Google and the AI Overview at the top summarizes a lawsuit, a wave of complaints or something that is simply wrong. The summary sits above every organic result, so it is often the only thing a searcher reads.
It helps to be clear about what Google offers. There is no button or form to remove AI Overview text about you. Google’s help pages describe AI Overviews as generated summaries with links to supporting sources, say they can make mistakes, and give users a thumbs-down and Report a problem option for feedback. Feedback is not a takedown request. In practice, an Overview follows the pages it cites, so a correction comes from changing those sources: removing pages that break platform policy or the law, updating or adding accurate pages that rank for your name, and fixing the facts in Google’s own entity data. Requests to remove personal information from Google Search itself go through Google’s separate removal tools, which we cover in our guide to removing personal information from Google.
That is why AI overview reputation management differs from general AI monitoring. The services below either remove or outrank the cited sources, or track branded Overviews so you can see when they change. We checked each provider’s own site in October 2026; statistics are the providers’ own claims.

Erase Technologies, LLC has been in reputation management since 2009, with offices at 3050 Biscayne Boulevard in Miami and 3425 Harvester Road in Burlington, Ontario. We reviewed its reputation management, approach and blog pages in October 2026. Its reputation management page states that ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Gemini now answer what Google used to, and that Erase suppresses and shapes what those systems say. It does not offer a separate AI Overview tracking tool or a GEO service, and we do not describe it as one.
Its relevance here is the source-side fix. An AI Overview on a branded search draws on the pages that rank for that search. Erase’s four phases (Audit, Remove, Suppress, Monitor) map those results, file policy-violation takedowns directly with platforms, build positive assets to push harmful results down, and keep watching search results. In a May 2026 announcement, Erase described how Overviews can surface negative signals from recent complaints, complaints repeated across platforms, and high-authority hosts such as Reddit.
Removal coverage includes Google search results, news articles, court records, mugshots, gripe and complaint sites and personal information, plus review removal on Google, Indeed, Glassdoor, Trustpilot and more than 15 other platforms. Erase reports more than 100,000 reviews and URLs removed across 2,000-plus platforms, and says 59 percent of targeted results are suppressed within three months and 99 percent within six. Clients pay when results are delivered, and assessments are reviewed within 24 hours. The limitation is that you will need a separate tracker to watch the Overview text itself change.
Best for: Businesses and professionals whose branded AI Overview is built on reviews, articles or records that can be removed or pushed down.
Guaranteed Removals is the removal-only brand of Erase Technologies, LLC, the company that also runs Erase, with offices in Miami and Burlington, Ontario. It deletes content at the source rather than pushing it down, and it does not sell suppression. Clients are billed only after a link is removed and verified gone, with no retainer or upfront fee.
Google does not remove AI Overviews on request, and Overviews follow their cited sources. Guaranteed Removals works on those sources: Google search results, news articles, defamatory pages and reviews, deleted at the source. It does not monitor AI Overviews, and an Overview may simply cite a different page once one is removed.
Its removals carry a lifetime guarantee: if a removed link reappears on the same URL, the firm says it removes it again free, and refunds that removal if the second attempt fails. Guaranteed Removals reports more than 15,000 clients, 20,000 reviews removed and 100,000 links deleted; those are the company’s own figures.
Best for: Branded searches where an Overview cites removable content.
Reputation Resolutions is based in Englewood, Colorado, in the Denver area, and was founded in 2013 by CEO Anthony Will. It reports more than 5,000 clients. Its site leads with fixing what ChatGPT and AI say about you, and it lists dedicated reputation services for Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity.
Will also wrote a November 2025 Search Engine Land article on removing or suppressing negative content in AI Overviews, which set out the two routes most providers on this list use: legal and platform-based removal of the underlying pages, and building stronger positive signals through credible publishing, structured data and E-E-A-T. That article also recommends ongoing monitoring of branded Overviews to catch problems early.
Pricing is quoted after a free consultation, and the firm says removals are billed only after a takedown is confirmed, with costs that range from hundreds to several thousand dollars depending on content type and platform. The limitation is that suppression-based work on AI Overviews takes time to show up, because Google has to re-crawl and re-rank the sources first.
Best for: People and companies who want one firm to handle both removals and AI Overview monitoring.
Status Labs is headquartered in Austin, Texas, with offices in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, London and Hamburg; Darius Fisher is CEO and Jesse Boskoff is COO. It lists AI Search (GEO) as a dedicated service and says it pairs strategists with proprietary analytics that measure how clients appear across search engines and AI platforms.
For a branded AI Overview, that combination of reputation strategy and measurement is the main draw. Status Labs has published annual whitepapers on AI and the future of reputation management, which gives prospective clients a view of how it approaches AI-generated summaries before they engage.
Pricing is quote-based. The limitation is that Status Labs works mostly at the executive and corporate end, so smaller businesses may find the engagement larger than the problem.
Reputation Pros is based at 1221 SW 2nd Avenue in Miami. It defines AI reputation management as monitoring and protecting how a person or brand is represented across AI systems, and names ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Google AI Overview and Perplexity among the platforms it monitors.
Its stated method is to influence the authority signals and source data that feed those platforms, so that inaccurate or damaging narratives do not take hold. For an inaccurate AI Overview, that means working on the ranking pages and profiles Google draws from for your name.
Reputation Pros gives a range for negative content suppression of roughly $2,500 to $10,000 a month depending on scope, and offers a free 30-minute strategy consultation. The limitation is that suppression is a monthly commitment, and the timeline depends on how strong the negative pages are.
Kalicube is run by founder and CEO Jason Barnard with a remote team. Its specialty is the Brand SERP, the page Google shows when someone searches your name, along with Google Knowledge Panels and visibility in AI assistants. That is the exact search an AI Overview on a branded query appears on, which makes Kalicube a different kind of AI overview reputation management provider from the removal firms above.
When an Overview mixes you up with someone of the same name, gets your role or company wrong, or fills a thin results page with one negative article, the cause is often weak entity data. Kalicube builds a consistent description of the person or company, anchored on an owned page and repeated by trusted sources, so Google’s Knowledge Graph and the Overview have accurate facts to draw on.
Pricing is quote-based, with a free AI audit as the entry point. The limitation is speed and scope: entity work changes results over months, and it will not remove a damaging article that ranks for your name.
Best for: Individuals whose branded Overview is wrong about who they are rather than hostile.
Go Fish Digital is a search and digital marketing agency at 150 Fayetteville Street in Raleigh, North Carolina. It offers both online reputation management, covering search results, reviews and brand sentiment, and a generative engine optimization service aimed at getting brands ranked in Google and cited in AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity.
That pairing suits a Google AI Overview reputation problem well. The ORM team can work on the negative results and reviews that the Overview is drawing from, while the GEO and SEO teams make sure accurate owned pages are strong enough to be cited instead.
Pricing is not published; the firm offers a free GEO audit and custom proposals. The limitation is that Go Fish Digital is a broad agency, so confirm which team will own the reputation work and how AI Overview changes will be reported.
Minc Law is a law firm led by attorney Aaron Minc, with its office listed at 200 Park Avenue, Suite 200, Cleveland, Ohio. It handles internet content removal, defamation matters, online harassment and reputation management, and reports removing more than 200,000 pieces of defamatory and damaging content.
In a June 2026 article on being defamed by an AI model, Minc Law noted that suing an AI developer over a one-off fabricated statement is very difficult under current law, and recommended tracing the claim to its source: if the AI is repeating an article, review or post with a real author, traditional defamation remedies may apply to that source. That matches how AI Overviews work, since they summarize identifiable pages.
Minc Law offers a free case review and paid attorney consultations; fees depend on the matter. Nothing in this list is legal advice. Whether a statement is defamatory, and whether court records can be sealed or expunged, are questions for a licensed attorney. Our list of internet defamation lawyers and content removal firms covers more options. The limitation is that legal routes only apply where the source content is unlawful or breaks platform rules.
SE Ranking is an SEO platform operated by SER Acquisition Inc. Its AI visibility tracker monitors Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, and records two things for each answer: whether your brand is mentioned, and whether your domain is linked as a source.
For AI overview reputation management, tracking matters because Overviews change as Google re-ranks sources. Running your branded queries on a schedule lets you see when a negative claim appears, which URLs it cites, and whether removal or suppression work by any provider on this list has changed the summary.
There is a free tier with five daily checks and a 14-day trial of the paid platform. The limitation is that it is a tool, not a service: it tells you what changed but does nothing to change it.
No. A provider that promises to remove AI Overview content directly is overstating what is possible. Google accepts feedback through the thumbs-down and Report a problem options, and legal removal requests apply to specific content in Search. The realistic path is to change the pages the Overview cites, then wait for Google to refresh it.
Before hiring anyone, search your name or brand, open the Overview’s source links and list them. A good provider will do this in the first call and sort the sources into three groups: removable (policy or legal grounds), suppressible (can be outranked) and correctable (your own pages or entity data).
An inaccurate AI Overview that misstates facts can sometimes be fixed by correcting your own site, your Google Business Profile or your Knowledge Panel. An accurate but negative one, such as coverage of a real dispute, can only be balanced or suppressed, not corrected.
Ask for a fixed set of branded queries checked on a schedule, with screenshots and the cited URLs logged each time. Tools such as SE Ranking make this easy to verify independently.
If an Overview repeats a potentially defamatory claim, or draws on court or arrest records, talk to a licensed attorney about the source. Defamation, sealing and expungement are legal questions; reputation firms can remove or suppress content but cannot give legal advice.
Google AI Overview reputation work is source work. Reputation Resolutions, Status Labs, Reputation Pros and Go Fish Digital combine source fixes with AI-focused strategy; Kalicube fixes the entity data behind name searches; Erase concentrates on removing and suppressing the pages Overviews cite; Minc Law handles the legal route; and SE Ranking lets you check the results yourself.
If you want to remove AI Overview claims about you, start by listing the sources, decide which can be removed, outranked or corrected, and choose the provider that matches. For the wider set of AI assistants beyond Google, see our list of AI reputation management companies for 2027.
