Europe’s tech calendar is crowded, and that is a good problem to have. In a single year you can walk the halls of a 100,000-person telecom show in Barcelona, pitch investors in a dark Helsinki arena and sit in on a developer keynote in Berlin. The hard part is deciding which events deserve your budget and your team’s time.
This guide covers the tech conferences in Europe 2027 that we think are worth planning around. We checked each organizer’s official site in November 2026. Where 2027 dates are published, we list them. Where they are not, we note the most recent edition so you know the usual month and city.
The list spans mobile and connectivity, consumer electronics, fintech, developer events, AI and startup festivals. Use the table for a quick scan, then read the entries for who each event suits best.

Decide on the outcome before you look at speakers. If you need customers, pick an event where buyers attend, such as MWC Barcelona, Money20/20 Europe or IFA Berlin. If you need capital, Slush, TechBBQ and How to Web put you in rooms full of investors. If you need technical learning, developer events like WeAreDevelopers and Devoxx Belgium give better value.
Large shows such as Web Summit and VivaTech offer volume and visibility, but meetings can be harder to secure. Smaller, focused events often lead to better conversations per hour. Many teams pair one large flagship event with two or three niche ones each year.
Location still matters. London Tech Week is the clearest route into the UK, Wave into Italy, How to Web into CEE and TechBBQ into the Nordics. Choosing an event in your target market also makes follow-up meetings easier.
Ticket prices are only part of the bill. Flights, hotels during peak event weeks and staff time add up fast. Book early for Barcelona, Lisbon and Paris, where hotel rates rise sharply during big shows, and check for startup or early-bird ticket programs.
Europe offers a tech conference for almost every goal, from MWC Barcelona’s industry-wide scale to developer-first events like Devoxx Belgium and founder hubs like Slush. The best calendar is not the busiest one. It is the one that matches your audience, your market and what you need to achieve in 2027.
Start by locking in the events with confirmed 2027 dates, then watch the official sites of Web Summit, Slush, GITEX AI Europe, Infobip Shift and DLD Munich for announcements.
