How To Choose A Roofing Company In Franklin Township

Are they registered in New Jersey?

New Jersey requires home improvement contractors to register with the Division of Consumer Affairs. Ask for the registration number, which starts with 13VH, along with proof of liability insurance.

What certifications do they hold?

Manufacturer tiers such as GAF Master Elite, Owens Corning Platinum and CertainTeed ShingleMaster come with stronger warranties and show the crew has been trained on that product line.

How do they protect against ice dams?

Ask whether they install ice and water shield along the eaves and valleys and how they handle attic ventilation, since both help prevent winter ice dams and leaks.

How do they handle insurance claims?

Look for a roofer who documents storm damage with photos, meets your adjuster and gives you a written, itemized estimate before any work starts.

Conclusion

Spartan Roofing and Home Genius Exteriors are strong starting points in Franklin Township, and the rest of this list covers a range of specialties and price points.

Get at least two written estimates and compare the scope of work, materials and warranty, not just the price, before you sign.
