Lovable’s sticker price is easy to find: Pro starts at $25 a month. What that buys is harder to work out, because Lovable bills in credits, and one balance pays for building, chatting, hosting your backend and the AI features in your live app. Budget only for the subscription and you can run dry mid-build.
This guide breaks down every Lovable plan as of October 2026, explains how credits are spent and when they expire, lists the costs that sit outside the plan, and works through three example budgets with the arithmetic shown. All plan details come from Lovable’s pricing page and its documentation, checked on 25 October 2026. For the wider tool landscape, start at our Vibe Coding & No-Code hub.
Lovable has four plans. Free costs nothing and gives you 5 build credits a day, capped at 30 a month. Pro starts at $25 a month for 100 monthly credits plus 5 daily credits with no monthly cap, and adds custom domains and code editing. Business starts at $50 a month for the same 100 credits plus SSO, role-based access and governance features. Enterprise is priced by Lovable’s sales team. Both Pro and Business scale from 100 to 10,000 monthly credits, and annual billing gives you two months free.
A simple app fits inside a month of entry Pro. A SaaS MVP built over two months lands around $145 in our estimate below. Teams that need SSO pay roughly double per credit on Business.
| Plan | Monthly Price | Annual Billing | Credits | Notable Inclusions |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | Not applicable | 5 daily build credits, max 30 a month, plus a daily chat allowance | Unlimited members, private projects, Git sync, lovable.app hosting |
| Pro | From $25 (100 credits) | $250 a year ($21 a month) | 100 to 10,000 monthly credits plus 5 daily build credits | Custom domains, code editing, badge removal, rollover, top-ups |
| Business | From $50 (100 credits) | $500 a year ($42 a month) | 100 to 10,000 monthly credits plus 5 daily build credits | SSO, role-based access, security center, priority support |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom contract | Volume-based credits | SCIM, audit logs, EU inference, dedicated support |
The Free plan gives a workspace 5 daily build credits, capped at 30 per calendar month, plus a daily chat allowance whose exact size Lovable does not publish. It also includes monthly grants of 20 Cloud credits, 4 AI credits and 1 connector credit. Projects can be private on every plan, including Free, and you can invite unlimited members and sync to GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket.
The limits show up at launch: no custom domain, no code editing and no top-ups. Free works for testing an idea, not for shipping one.
Pro is where most builders land. The entry tier is $25 a month for 100 monthly credits. On top of that, Pro workspaces get 5 daily build credits every day with no monthly cap, a larger daily chat allowance than Free, and the same 20 Cloud, 4 AI and 1 connector monthly grants. Pro adds custom domains, removal of the “Edit with Lovable” badge, code editing and download, and email support.
You can raise the credit tier without changing plans. Selected Pro tiers as of October 2026:
| Monthly Credits | Pro Monthly | Pro Annual (Per Month) | Business Monthly | Business Annual (Per Month) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 100 | $25 | $21 | $50 | $42 |
| 200 | $50 | $42 | $100 | $84 |
| 400 | $100 | $84 | $200 | $167 |
| 800 | $200 | $167 | $400 | $334 |
| 1,200 | $294 | $245 | $588 | $490 |
| 10,000 | $2,250 | $1,875 | $4,300 | $3,584 |
Pro costs $0.25 a credit up to 800 credits, falling to $0.225 at 10,000 ($2,250 / 10,000).
Business has Pro’s credit mechanics but costs twice as much per credit at most tiers ($0.50 a credit). The premium pays for governance: SSO, role-based access, a security center, the Lovable API, password-protected preview links and priority support. Workspace data is also excluded from AI training by default.
Enterprise pricing and contract terms are set by Lovable’s sales team. It runs on volume-based subscription credits and does not include the daily chat allowance, daily build credits or monthly Cloud and AI grants. In exchange you get SCIM, audit logs, EU inference, a publishing domain for every app and dedicated support.
Credits belong to the workspace, not to seats, so adding members does not change your bill. One balance now covers five kinds of usage: building, chat, Cloud (hosting the built-in backend), AI gateway calls made by your deployed app, and connectors managed by Lovable.
Lovable spends usage-specific grants first: the daily chat allowance, the 5 daily build credits, and the monthly Cloud, AI and connector grants. Only after those run out does it touch your general credits (monthly plan credits, top-ups and bonus credits), starting with whichever expire soonest. Daily allowances reset at 00:00 UTC and never roll over, so a day you do not build is 5 credits lost. On Pro and Business, if you build every day of a 30-day month, the daily credits add up to 150 on top of your plan credits.
When the balance reaches zero, building stops, AI features in deployed apps stop, and Cloud-backed apps pause. That last point matters most once you have real users.
Pro and Business can buy one-time credit top-ups in packs from 50 to 10,000 credits. Pro pays $15 per 50 credits ($0.30 each); Business pays $30 per 50 ($0.60 each). If you top up every month, the next tier is usually cheaper. Auto top-up is available with a monthly spend limit you set.
Publishing to a lovable.app URL is free on all plans, and a live site does not consume credits on its own. The built-in backend is another matter: database, storage, network and compute all draw run credits. Free, Pro and Business get a 20-credit monthly Cloud grant, which Lovable labels a temporary offering. Beyond that, usage comes out of your general balance. Lovable does not publish per-hour database rates; it shows an estimated monthly cost for each instance size inside the project settings. Pausing an idle database stops credit use for everything except storage.
The built-in backend is on by default, so most projects never need a separate Supabase account. If you connect your own Supabase project instead, Supabase bills you directly and Lovable credits only cover the building work. Supabase’s Free plan allows 2 active projects with a 500 MB database each; Supabase Pro starts at $25 a month.
Connecting a custom domain requires a paid plan. You can buy a domain inside Lovable or connect one you already own. Lovable shows the purchase and renewal price at checkout but does not publish a standard rate.
These are estimates, not quotes; credit use varies with prompt quality and fix rounds. We assume an average of about 1 credit per build message (Lovable’s examples range from 0.50 to 2.00) and count daily credits only on 20 working days a month (20 x 5 = 100), since unused days are lost. Prices are monthly billing as of October 2026, before tax and domain fees.
After launch, budget separately for Cloud usage beyond the 20-credit grant and for any AI features your users trigger. Lovable does not publish fixed rates, so check the estimated monthly cost in the database settings before you launch. For how this compares with hiring a team, see our breakdown of MVP development cost.
Seats are free on every plan, so cost is driven entirely by how much the team prompts. Set per-member credit limits before the first sprint.
Each tool meters something different, so compare a month of real work, not the headline. Prices were checked on each vendor’s pricing page in October 2026.
| Tool | Free Tier | Entry Paid Plan | What You Get | Metering |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lovable | 5 build credits a day, max 30 a month | Pro $25 a month ($21 annual) | 100 monthly credits plus 5 daily, hosting, custom domain | Credits per message and app usage |
| Bolt | 1M tokens a month, 300K a day | Pro $18 a month billed annually ($216 a year) | 10M tokens a month with rollover, hosting, custom domain | Tokens |
| Replit | Starter: daily Agent credits, one published app for 30 days | Core $20 a month ($18 annual) | $20 of usage toward models, plus pay-as-you-go | Usage credits |
| Cursor | Limited agent and chat requests | Plus $8 a month | Shared usage pool on Grok models | Usage pool; third-party models billed separately |
Bolt’s page shows Pro at $18 a month on annual billing and lists $300 as the undiscounted yearly price, which works out to $25 a month. That makes Bolt and Lovable the same price at entry, with Bolt metering tokens and Lovable metering credits; our Lovable vs Bolt comparison covers how that plays out in practice. Replit Core is cheaper at $20 and also hosts apps. Cursor Plus is the cheapest at $8, but it is a code editor for people who can read code, and it does not host your app, so add hosting and a backend to its cost. Our Cursor vs Lovable guide explains when that trade makes sense, and the best vibe coding tools roundup covers the rest of the field.
Yes. Free includes 5 build credits a day (up to 30 a month), a daily chat allowance, private projects and hosting on a lovable.app address. Custom domains need a paid plan.
The $25 tier includes 100 monthly credits plus 5 daily build credits with no monthly cap, so up to about 250 credits in a 30-day month if you build every day. Pro also includes monthly grants of 20 Cloud, 4 AI and 1 connector credit.
Monthly plan credits roll over while you stay subscribed. On monthly billing they expire 2 months after issue; on annual billing they last until one month after the annual period ends. Daily credits and monthly grants never roll over, and top-ups last 12 months.
Building stops, AI features in your deployed apps stop, and Cloud-backed apps pause until you add credits by topping up, upgrading or waiting for the next grant. Auto top-up on Pro and Business prevents this if you set a spend limit you are comfortable with.
Only if you need SSO, role-based access, default exclusion from AI training or the other governance features. You pay roughly twice as much per credit for them, so a solo founder or small team without those requirements should stay on Pro.
Lovable is cheap to start and predictable once you understand credits. A simple app can cost a single $25 month, an MVP is more likely $100 to $200 over two months, and a team with governance needs should budget hundreds per month. The surprises come after launch: backend usage, AI calls from your app, and a paused app when the balance hits zero.
Before you scale a Lovable build, read up on vibe coding security risks, and recheck the plans and credits docs, since details such as the chat pricing and the Cloud grant are marked as temporary.
