Tech Conferences 2026: The Complete Q4 Calendar

Every major event on the tech conferences 2026 Q4 calendar, from Gartner Symposium and Web Summit to AWS re:Invent, GITEX and NeurIPS, with dates and locations.

The last quarter of the year is the densest stretch on the technology calendar. Between early October and the middle of December, the enterprise software vendors hold their flagship user conferences, the venture ecosystem runs its biggest founder gatherings, the security community meets twice on two continents, and the machine learning research world closes the year out. If you have budget left to spend or a team to send somewhere, this is the window.

The problem is volume. There are more than thirty events worth knowing about in that ten week stretch, several of them running on the same days in different hemispheres. Money20/20 USA and Gartner IT Symposium overlap. Web Summit and KubeCon North America run on identical dates. Black Hat Europe, GITEX Global and Abu Dhabi Finance Week all open on 7 December.

This is the full list, organised by month, with dates, locations and what each event is actually for. Everything here is scheduled for Q4 2026. A short section at the top covers what is still ahead in September for anyone planning the next few weeks rather than the next quarter.

    Tech Conferences In October 2026

    1. SF Tech Week — Hundreds Of Side Events, No Single Venue

Coordinated by a16z, SF Tech Week is not one conference so much as a week of separately hosted events scattered across San Francisco. Founders and investors travel for the week rather than for a venue, and the value is in the density of the calendar rather than any single stage. Expect to build your own schedule from dozens of parallel invitations.

    2. How to Web — Eastern Europe’s Anchor Startup Conference

Held at the Face Convention Center in Bucharest, How to Web is the leading startup conference in Central and Eastern Europe. It draws regional founders alongside international investors looking for early exposure to CEE companies, and it functions as the main annual meeting point for the Romanian ecosystem.

    3. TOKEN2049 Singapore — 25,000 Attendees And A Week Of Side Events

Two days at Marina Bay Sands, expecting more than 25,000 attendees. TOKEN2049 anchors a full week of crypto and Web3 side events that pulls most of Asia’s digital asset investors into Singapore at the same time. If your business touches digital assets in the region, the surrounding week matters as much as the main programme.

    4. World Summit AI — Enterprise AI At Amsterdam Scale

Around 10,000 enterprise leaders, researchers, startups and investors gather at Taets Art & Event Park just outside Amsterdam. World Summit AI is the anchor event of Amsterdam’s World AI Week, and it skews more toward enterprise adoption and commercial application than academic research.

    5. Italian Tech Week (Wave by Vento) — Rebranded, With A Dario Amodei Fireside

Italy’s flagship tech gathering has evolved into Wave by Vento for 2026, with more than 70 talks across multiple stages at OGR Torino. The headline session is a fireside conversation between Anthropic’s Dario Amodei and John Elkann. It remains the main annual fixture for the Italian startup and investor community.

    6. InfoSec World — Practitioner Security, With AI Regulation On The Agenda

Three days in Kissimmee, Florida, with a standard pass at $4,195. The 2026 programme leans heavily into AI: regulation, security threats from AI systems, privacy, and how the C-suite should think about all of it. Speakers include security leaders from T-Mobile, Box and JP Morgan Chase.

    7. TechCrunch Disrupt — Startup Battlefield And Three Days Of Dealmaking

Disrupt returns to Moscone West in San Francisco for three days built around the Startup Battlefield competition, an expo floor and a heavy investor meeting schedule. It is still the signature startup event on the American calendar, and the one where early stage founders are most likely to get in front of tier one funds without a warm introduction.

    8. CEATEC — Japan’s Largest Electronics And Digital Technology Exhibition

Four days at Makuhari Messe outside Tokyo, where Japanese corporates and startups show AI, hardware and mobility products to buyers and partners. CEATEC is the domestic counterpart to the international consumer shows, and it is where Japanese supply chain relationships get made.

    9. Money20/20 USA — The Largest Fintech And Payments Event In America

Four days at The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas. Banks, payment networks and fintech startups concentrate their annual round of partnership meetings here, which makes it less a conference than a compressed business development season. If you sell into financial services, this is the highest density week of the year.

    10. Gartner IT Symposium/Xpo — More Than 7,000 CIOs In One Place

Held at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando under the theme “Ignite Intelligence”, this is the largest annual gathering of CIOs and senior IT executives anywhere. More than 140 Gartner analysts and 180 solution providers run over 350 sessions across four days, covering AI, cybersecurity, data analytics and business transformation. A standard pass runs $8,200, with public sector pricing at $5,925.

    11. Securing New Ground — The Business Side Of Physical Security

Two days in New York City focused on how the security industry itself is changing, with an emphasis on AI and automation. The speaker list skews executive, including security and business leaders from Oracle, Motorola Solutions, Honeywell and Convergint. A pass is $1,995.

    12. VDS (Valencia Digital Summit) — Southern Europe Meets Latin America

Two days at Valencia’s City of Arts and Sciences, drawing founders, venture funds and corporate innovation teams from both Europe and Latin America. VDS has become the main bridge event between the two ecosystems, and the venue itself is a genuine draw.

    13. Future Investment Initiative (FII10) — Where Gulf Capital Sets Its Tone

The Saudi Public Investment Fund’s annual conference, in its tenth edition, at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in Riyadh. It gathers sovereign wealth funds, global asset managers and large cap technology executives, and it tends to set the direction for Gulf capital allocation for the following year.

    14. Oracle AI World — Larry Ellison On Stage In Las Vegas

Oracle’s rebranded flagship, covering vision and strategy, AI development inside Oracle applications, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Larry Ellison and CEOs Clay Magouyrk and Mike Sicilia are all on the speaker list. Early bird pricing is $1,999, with a $1,399 public sector rate.

    15. Gartner HR Symposium/Xpo — HR Technology In The AI Era

Running in Orlando the same week as Oracle AI World, this one covers HR’s expanding remit as AI reshapes work: multi-generational workforces, growth readiness, and where HR sits in AI adoption decisions. Early bird is $4,875, standard $5,475, public sector $4,440.

    16. ICMI Contact Center Expo — Customer Experience And AI In Production

Four days in Orlando across tracks covering people and culture, service experience, strategy and leadership, operations, and AI in action. Registration is free for qualified attendees, with super early bird passes from $1,799 for everyone else.

    17. Mexico Tech Week — 22,000 People, 400 Sessions, No Central Venue

A decentralised week run by founders, investors and startups across Mexico City. The last edition drew more than 22,000 people to over 400 sessions. Like SF Tech Week, the structure is a distributed calendar rather than a single programme, which rewards planning ahead.

    18. SWITCH — Singapore’s Government Backed Innovation Week

About 25,000 participants across three days, built around deep tech startups, corporate innovation teams and investors. SWITCH carries the weight of Singapore government backing, which shows up in the quality of the corporate and institutional attendance.

    19. GitHub Universe — Agentic Engineering, At Developer Prices

Two days in San Francisco with early bird passes at $109, which makes it one of the best value technical events of the quarter. The 2026 agenda is built almost entirely around agentic engineering: benchmarking AI coding tools, token cost management, agentic workflows in production, and agentic security. Speakers come from AMD, Anthropic, Vanguard, Moderna and Microsoft.

    20. Moonshot by TechCabal — African Tech’s Main Annual Gathering

Two days at the National Theatre in Lagos, now in its fourth edition, running nine tracks including a dedicated investor conference. Moonshot is the primary meeting point between Nigerian founders and the funds that back them, and it has become the anchor event for the wider African tech calendar.

    Tech Conferences In November 2026

    21. Hong Kong FinTech Week — More Than 45,000 Participants

Five days at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, run alongside StartmeupHK, combining a main conference with a week of city-wide side events. It is Hong Kong’s flagship finance and fintech event and the largest of its kind in the territory.

    22. Forrester Technology & Innovation Forum East — Analyst Led Technology Strategy

Two days in New York City. The agenda and speaker list had not been published at the time of writing, but the Central edition held in Austin in September covered data and AI readiness, AI workplace strategy and operationalising AI, which is a reasonable guide to what the East programme will look like.

    23. Web Summit — 70,000 Attendees In Lisbon

Four days at the MEO Arena and Europe’s largest technology conference by a wide margin. Web Summit is broad by design, covering everything from early stage startups to policy and media, and its scale means the value depends almost entirely on how well you plan your meetings in advance.

    24. KubeCon + CloudNativeCon North America — Cloud Native’s Flagship, Now With An AI Infrastructure Track

Four days at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, bringing CNCF graduated, incubating and sandbox projects together. The 2026 edition puts noticeably more weight on AI infrastructure alongside the usual Kubernetes core, with security tracks covering supply chain, container and runtime security, zero trust and DevSecOps. It runs on the same dates as Web Summit, so a choice has to be made.

    25. Forbes CIO Summit — One Day, In Person And Virtual

A single day in New York City with a virtual option, covering agentic AI, AI risk mitigation and the future of the IT function. Useful if you want CIO level content without committing four days and eight thousand dollars to Orlando.

    26. Africa Tech Festival (AfricaCom) — The Continent’s Largest Telecom Gathering

The 29th edition of the Cape Town event formerly known as AfricaCom, held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre. Coverage spans connectivity, data centres, AI, cybersecurity and startups, and it remains the largest annual gathering of African telecom and technology operators.

    27. Bengaluru Tech Summit — India’s Largest Tech Trade Event

The Karnataka government’s technology summit, now in its 29th edition, with more than 1,600 exhibitors and a dedicated startup programme at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre. Government backing gives it a scale that no private Indian tech event matches.

    28. Microsoft Ignite — Four Days On AI, Cloud And Business Transformation

Ignite runs in San Francisco this year, with a conference pass at $2,325 and a free digital pass. The speaker list is heavily internal and heavily senior, including Mark Russinovich, Vasu Jakkal and the leadership of Microsoft 365, Copilot and Copilot Studio. If your organisation runs on the Microsoft stack, the free digital pass alone makes this worth blocking out.

    29. Singapore FinTech Festival — Over 70,000 Participants

Run by the Monetary Authority of Singapore at the Singapore Expo, this is the largest single gathering of financial services and fintech decision makers in Asia. Regulator involvement means policy signals often land here first, which is part of why the attendance is what it is.

    30. Slush — 13,000 Founders In The Helsinki Winter

Two days in November darkness, and the most founder focused of the major European events. Slush deliberately keeps its scale below Web Summit’s in exchange for a higher concentration of genuine early stage companies and the investors who actually write cheques at that stage.

    31. AWS re:Invent — Five Days, 50,000 Attendees, The Year’s Cloud Roadmap

Spread across multiple venues on the Las Vegas Strip, re:Invent is where AWS sets its AI and cloud direction for the following year. The 2026 agenda covers cloud innovation strategy, agentic commerce, architecture and the AWS agent tooling. Early bird pricing is $1,299 rising to $2,499 standard, and it spills over into December.

    Tech Conferences In December 2026

    32. Y Combinator Fall 2026 Demo Day — Invite Only, One Day

YC’s Fall batch presents to an invite only audience of investors and media in San Francisco. Investors can request an invitation through YC’s Demo Day page, and approved attendees preview the companies through the YC startup directory beforehand. Not a conference in the ordinary sense, but it moves more early stage capital in a day than most events do in a week.

    33. NeurIPS — The Fortieth Edition, Across Three Continents

NeurIPS 2026 is the largest machine learning research conference in the world and it has adopted a distributed format this year. The main site is Sydney from 6 to 12 December, with official satellite events in Atlanta and Paris both running 9 to 13 December. Expo talks open the Sydney programme on 6 December, tutorials follow on the 7th, main sessions run 8 to 10 December and workshops close it out on the 11th and 12th. Registration is lottery based because demand consistently exceeds capacity.

    34. Black Hat Europe — Four Days At ExCeL London

The programme opens with two and four day training courses across all skill levels, then runs the two day main conference on 9 and 10 December. Briefings cover new research and developments, and the Arsenal track runs dozens of open source tool demonstrations alongside the business hall.

    35. Abu Dhabi Finance Week — More Than 70 Events Across Al Maryah Island

Abu Dhabi Global Market’s fifth finance week, drawing over 35,000 participants across capital markets, private capital, digital assets and fintech. It runs on the same days as both Black Hat Europe and GITEX Global, which makes early December in the Gulf and Europe genuinely crowded.

    36. GITEX Global + Expand North Star — Moved To December For 2026

Worth flagging clearly: GITEX has shifted out of its traditional October slot. The 2026 edition runs 7 to 11 December at Expo City Dubai, with the opening day on 7 December at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Expand North Star hosts the startup and investor programme. It remains one of the largest technology shows on earth, and anyone working from an old calendar will have the wrong dates.

    37. COMEUP — South Korea’s National Startup Festival

Three days at COEX in Seoul, backed by the Korean startup ministry, where domestic founders pitch to Korean and international investors. It is the main annual entry point into the Korean startup ecosystem for outside funds.

How To Choose Which Tech Conferences To Attend

Are you going to learn, to sell, or to raise?

These three goals point at completely different events. Learning is best served by the vendor conferences and research meetings: Microsoft Ignite, AWS re:Invent, KubeCon, NeurIPS. Selling is best served by the events with the highest density of your buyers in one building, which usually means Gartner Symposium, Money20/20 or Oracle AI World. Raising is best served by Disrupt, Slush, Web Summit and the demo days. An event that is excellent for one of these is often mediocre for the other two.

How many of your target accounts will actually be there?

Attendance figures are a poor proxy for value. A 70,000 person event where two hundred of your target accounts are present is worse than a 2,000 person event where eighty of them are. Before committing, try to get the exhibitor list and the sponsor list from the previous edition, since both correlate closely with who shows up.

What does the trip actually cost?

The pass price is rarely the largest line. Gartner IT Symposium at $8,200 standard plus Orlando hotels during peak conference week can run past $12,000 for one person. GitHub Universe at $109 early bird in San Francisco is a different order of decision entirely. Work out cost per meaningful conversation rather than cost per ticket.

Do the dates collide with something better?

Q4 2026 has several hard collisions. Web Summit and KubeCon North America both run 9 to 12 November. Black Hat Europe, GITEX Global and Abu Dhabi Finance Week all open on 7 December. Oracle AI World, Gartner HR Symposium, ICMI Contact Center Expo, FII10 and Mexico Tech Week all overlap in the last week of October. Map the collisions before you book anything.

Is there a digital pass worth taking instead?

Several of the largest events now run a serious online track. Microsoft Ignite offers a free digital pass. NeurIPS runs a virtual pass covering the full week. If the goal is content rather than contact, the digital option removes the travel cost entirely and is often the more sensible call for junior team members.

    Are you booking early enough?

Early bird pricing on the larger events typically closes six to ten weeks out, and the difference is significant: AWS re:Invent moves from $1,299 to $2,499, and the Gartner events carry similar gaps. Hotel inventory in Orlando and Las Vegas during conference weeks disappears well before the pricing deadline does.

    Conclusion

Q4 2026 is the busiest quarter on the technology calendar, and the density is the problem rather than the choice. Thirty seven significant events across ten weeks means the decision is not which conferences are good, since most of the ones listed here are, but which two or three justify the travel, the pass and the week out of the business.

The practical approach is to work backwards from a single objective per event, check the collisions, and book before the early bird windows close. Two well chosen conferences with a prepared meeting schedule will consistently outperform five attended on impulse. And if 2026 is already fully committed, the same calendar is a useful starting point for the 2027 planning cycle, since most of these events hold roughly the same slot year to year. The exception this year is GITEX Global, which moved from October to December, so verify dates against the official sites before you build a budget around them.
