Dr. Gianluca Cerri built a career in emergency medicine through a combination of clinical expertise and leadership experience. After completing medical school at Louisiana State University from 1993 to 1997, he trained in Internal Medicine at LSU from 1997 to 2000 and served as Chief Resident in 2000. He later completed Emergency Medicine residency at the University of Massachusetts from 2005 to 2008. Over more than two decades in medicine, he has served as an Emergency Physician, Flight Physician, AEMS Director, Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine, and Expert Medical Witness. His work has been recognised with awards including the Patient Experience Award, Extraordinary Service Award, Leadership and Dedication Award, and placement on the Healthgrades Honor Roll.
