Jason Markusen is an entrepreneur and leadership-driven professional focused on helping individuals and teams build stronger habits, positive culture, and sustained motivation. He is the Owner and CEO of Energized 4 Life, an online business centered on leadership, personal growth, and mindset development.
Originally from Park River, North Dakota, Markusen grew up in a close-knit community that shaped his values around discipline, teamwork, and accountability. He attended the University of North Dakota, where he graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Elementary Education and a coaching minor. He later earned both his Master’s and Educational Specialist degrees in Educational Leadership from North Dakota State University, completing graduate school with a 4.0 GPA.
Over time, Markusen expanded his focus into entrepreneurship. He collaborated with a small team to help develop the Quiver app and went on to launch ventures including You Matter Marketing and Top Gun Leadership. These experiences helped shape his belief that strong leadership, organization, and consistent habits are the foundation of long-term success.
Today, through Energized 4 Life, Markusen shares insights on leadership, team building, and personal growth. His work centers on the idea that energy and mindset drive performance, and that small, consistent actions can lead to meaningful progress over time.
