    Can you introduce your investment advisory background and describe your role in the industry?

    I am an investment adviser based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and I have worked in the financial industry for more than 40 years. I started my career at Merrill Lynch right out of college after earning my degree in Business Administration. Since then, I have stayed focused on helping clients navigate financial decisions while building long-term relationships based on trust and communication. My role has always been centered on consistency, staying informed, and making sure clients feel heard and understood throughout the process.

    What is the foundation of your approach to working with clients?

    My approach is relationship-driven. I focus on communication, consistency, and long-term thinking. I believe people want clarity and reliability more than complicated conversations. I try to keep things direct and practical. A large part of my process is regular communication and making sure clients understand what is happening around them. Over time, that creates trust.

    How do you differentiate yourself in a competitive financial industry?

    I think experience and consistency matter. I have been in this industry for four decades, and I have stayed committed through changing markets, technology shifts, and different economic cycles. I do not try to overcomplicate things. I focus on communication and staying disciplined. Clients appreciate reliability. They want someone who will consistently show up, stay prepared, and maintain perspective during uncertain periods.

    My work has generally focused on individuals and families looking for long-term guidance and communication they can rely on. A lot of conversations center around investments, financial planning perspectives, and reviewing long-term goals. Over the years, I have worked with people from many different backgrounds and stages of life. The common factor is usually the desire for consistency and accountability.

    What are the most important qualities clients look for today?

    People want transparency and communication. There is so much information available today that many people feel overwhelmed. They want someone who can communicate clearly and stay calm under pressure. I think trust is still the most important part of any professional relationship in this industry.

    How do you stay informed in an industry that changes quickly?

    Continuing education has always been important to me. I spend time reading, researching, and learning about new technologies and ideas. You cannot rely only on what worked ten years ago. The industry changes constantly, especially with technology and access to information. I stay informed by maintaining consistent learning habits and keeping an open mind to new developments.

    How important are repeat relationships in your work?

    They are extremely important. Long-term relationships are a major part of this business. In my experience, loyalty comes from consistency and communication over time. Clients remember whether you followed through, whether you stayed available, and whether you treated them with respect during both good and difficult periods. Those relationships are built slowly.

    How do you measure success in your work?

    I focus on outcomes and client acknowledgment. Success is not just about numbers. It is about whether clients feel supported, informed, and confident in the process. I pay attention to communication, follow-through, and whether goals are being reviewed consistently over time.

    What does your ongoing client support look like?

    A lot of support comes through regular communication and follow-up. I believe in checking in consistently rather than only reacting during major events. People appreciate responsiveness and clarity. My approach has always involved maintaining steady communication and helping clients stay focused on long-term priorities.

    How do you approach goal setting and accountability?

    I review goals consistently. I believe in evaluating short-term progress while also re-evaluating long-term goals when needed. That process helps create structure and accountability. You have to remain adaptable while still maintaining discipline. Regular reviews are important because circumstances and priorities can change over time.

    Have you ever had to say no to opportunities or relationships that were not the right fit?

    Yes. Sometimes expectations, communication styles, or priorities are not aligned. I believe strong professional relationships require trust, patience, and mutual respect. If those things are missing, it can become difficult to create productive long-term outcomes. Clear expectations are important from the beginning.

    What challenges have you faced during your career in the financial industry?

    The biggest challenge has probably been adapting to constant change while remaining steady for clients. Markets change. Technology changes. Communication methods change. But people still need guidance and reassurance during uncertain periods. Staying calm, informed, and disciplined through those shifts has been important throughout my career.

    How do you adapt to new trends and innovations?

    I stay open to learning. I read regularly and spend time researching new technologies and industry developments. You do not have to adopt every trend immediately, but you do need to understand where the industry is going. Technology has changed how people access information and communicate, so adapting thoughtfully is important.

    What role do personal values play in your professional life?

    A major role. Faith, family, and balance are very important to me. Providing for my family has always been one of my strongest motivations. I also believe balance matters because work and personal life affect each other. I try to stay grounded through prayer, reflection, and maintaining perspective.

    How has your leadership style changed over time?

    Experience teaches patience and perspective. Earlier in my career, I was focused heavily on proving myself and building momentum. Over time, I learned that listening and communication are just as important as technical knowledge. Consistency and reliability become more valuable as relationships grow over the years.

    What industry changes are you most interested in right now?

    I am interested in how technology is changing communication and access to information. Clients are more informed than ever before, but they are also dealing with more noise and distractions. I think technology will continue shaping how professionals communicate and deliver information efficiently.

    What advice would you give to younger professionals entering the industry today?

    Stay consistent. Communicate clearly. Continue learning. This industry rewards discipline and patience over time. You also have to genuinely care about helping people. One lesson I have learned is that long-term success usually comes from steady habits repeated consistently, not short-term excitement. Trust takes years to build, and that should never be taken lightly.
