What marketing services do you need for your project?

Top No-Code App Builders And Tools In 2026

This list is for founders, operations teams and product managers who want a working app without hiring a development team first. Some of these tools are for customer-facing products that need to reach the App Store, others are for internal tools built on a spreadsheet, and a few are AI app builders that write the code for you from a prompt. They overlap less than their marketing suggests, so the right pick depends on what you are building and who will use it.

We checked every tool on its own website, pricing page and documentation in October 2026. Since our 2024 edition, AppGyver, Bildr, Bravo and Jotform Apps have dropped off and AI-first builders have moved in, so every entry below was re-verified from scratch. Prices are as of October 2026 and change often. For the wider landscape, see our Vibe Coding & No-Code hub.

Best No-Code App Builders And Tools In 2026

    1. Bubble — Visual Full-Stack Builder With Native iOS And Android Publishing

Bubble builds web apps such as SaaS platforms, marketplaces and internal tools, and its native mobile editor publishes to iOS and Android from the same account. Design, data and logic are all set visually, with privacy rules controlling who sees what. The database, user authentication and hosting are built in, and you can start from a prompt with AI app generation before switching to the visual editor. Bubble says it has nearly 6 million builders, 8 million apps and more than 8,000 plugins.

As of October 2026, the Free plan includes 50K workload units a month and both editors, but no live deployment. Paid plans are $59, $209 and $549 a month billed annually (Starter, Growth, Team), adding a live site, custom domain and a set number of mobile build submissions. The main trade-off is lock-in: Bubble produces a visual app rather than source code you can take elsewhere. If you need outside help, see our list of Bubble development agencies.

    • Visual web app builder with built-in database, auth and hosting
    • Native mobile editor with app store build submissions
    • AI app generation and an AI agent for adding features

    2. FlutterFlow — Flutter App Builder With One-Click Code Export

FlutterFlow is a visual builder for mobile, web and desktop apps that generates Flutter code. You assemble screens from more than 200 prebuilt UI elements, add logic in a visual Action Flow Editor, connect Firebase or Supabase as the backend, and call REST APIs. Custom widgets and actions cover what the visual tools cannot, themes can be imported from Figma, and teams get branching and comments. Apps deploy to the App Store, Google Play and the web. FlutterFlow says more than 3.3 million users build on it.

As of October 2026, the Free plan allows 2 projects and 1 editor, with no code download, APK download or custom domain. Basic is $39 a month and adds code and APK downloads. Growth is $80 for the first seat and $55 for a second, and Business is $150 for the first seat and $85 for seats two to five. Code export is the main reason to choose it, though you still need Flutter skills to maintain what you export. See our guide to FlutterFlow developers if you need a team.

    • Native iOS, Android, web and desktop apps from one project
    • Firebase and Supabase integrations plus REST API calls
    • Flutter code export and APK download from the Basic plan

    3. Glide — Spreadsheet-To-App Builder For Internal Business Apps

Glide now describes itself as an AI app builder for internal business apps. You start from a spreadsheet or a prompt, and its agent loads the data and builds a working app that runs on desktop and phone. SheetSense reads every sheet, including formulas, lookups and notes, and you can click any number in the app to see how it was calculated. Data can come from Google Sheets, Excel, Airtable, Notion, Snowflake, Salesforce, NetSuite and other tools, and Claude, Gemini and ChatGPT can connect over MCP. Glide says more than 100,000 businesses use it.

As of October 2026, the Free plan covers 2 team members and 10 projects but no published apps. Basic is $25 a month (2 published apps), Plus is $50 (5 apps) and Pro is $125 with unlimited published apps. Glide is fast for operations teams, but it is not built for consumer apps in the app stores.

    • Apps built from spreadsheets, databases and business tools
    • AI agent that builds the app from your data
    • Workflows, AI spend budgets and approved-model controls

    4. Softr — Portal And Internal Tool Builder With 21+ Data Sources

Softr builds operational apps: client portals (its most common starting point), CRMs, intranets, inventory trackers and dashboards. Its AI Co-Builder takes a plain-language description and creates the database, pages, user roles and logic, which you then edit visually. Data can live in Softr Databases or in more than 21 external sources, from Airtable, Notion and Google Sheets on the Free plan to SQL databases, BigQuery and HubSpot on Business. Mobile access works through a PWA that installs on Apple and Android devices. Softr says it has more than 1 million builders and 7,000 organizations.

As of October 2026, the Free plan allows up to 3 builders and 5 app users. Basic is $25 a month or $19 billed annually, Pro is $119 or $99, and Business is $395 or $329, with more app users and data sources at each step. Pricing scales with app users, so a portal with many clients can climb quickly.

    • Client portals, CRMs and internal dashboards
    • AI Co-Builder that generates data, pages and roles
    • Native database plus 21+ external data connectors

    5. Adalo — Native Mobile Builder With The Ada AI Assistant

Adalo builds native iOS and Android apps plus responsive web apps from one project. You describe the app and its AI assistant, Ada, builds the screens, database collections and logic, which you refine by prompt or in the visual editor. Each project includes a hosted Postgres database, and you can bring in data from Google Sheets, Airtable, Excel or Shopify, or connect through REST APIs and Xano. Adalo lists source code export and says more than 3 million apps have been created on it.

As of October 2026, the Free plan includes unlimited test apps, 500 records per app and 5 Ada prompts a month, but app store publishing needs a paid plan. Builder is $65 a month ($52 billed annually) with 2 published apps and 5 editors, and Business is $200 a month ($160 annually) with 5 published apps. Apple and Google developer fees are paid separately.

    • Native iOS, Android and web apps from one project
    • Ada AI assistant for screens, data and logic
    • Hosted Postgres database with Xano and API connections

    6. Google AppSheet — Internal App Builder Included In Most Google Workspace Plans

AppSheet is Google’s no-code builder for internal apps that run on desktop and mobile, for field work, operations, HR and sales. You connect a data source, such as Google Sheets, hosted Excel, Salesforce, Smartsheet, Cloud SQL, BigQuery or its own database, and the editor generates a prototype. Logic uses spreadsheet-style expressions, and automations send emails, texts and push notifications. Forms can capture barcodes, locations, signatures and photos, and Gemini can build an app from a description.

As of October 2026, building and testing is free with up to 10 test users. Starter is $5 per user a month, Core is $10 (included in most paid Google Workspace plans), and Enterprise Plus is $20. Publisher Pro, at $50 a month per app, covers public apps without sign-in. Per-user pricing suits internal teams but not consumer apps.

    • Internal apps on Sheets, Excel, SQL and business systems
    • Automations with email, SMS and push notifications
    • Gemini app creation, OCR and document processing

    7. Thunkable — Prompt-Driven Native App Builder With Direct App Store Publishing

Thunkable has moved from block-based building to an AI Builder: you describe the app in chat and it handles design, logic and publishing for a native iOS and Android app. Discuss Mode helps plan and troubleshoot, a code editor lets you combine AI output with direct edits, and version history lets you roll back. Apps publish straight to the App Store and Google Play. Thunkable says it has 5 million users and 11 million apps created across 185 countries over more than 10 years.

As of October 2026, the Free plan includes 2,000 AI tokens, 3 public projects and 5 screens per project, with no private projects. Accelerator is $19 a month ($18 annually), Builder is $59 ($37 annually) with 1 live published app, and Advanced is $189 ($99 annually) with unlimited published apps. Token limits matter here because every change runs through the AI.

    • Native iOS and Android apps built from prompts
    • Code editor alongside AI changes, with version history
    • Direct publishing to the App Store and Google Play

    8. Draftbit — Mobile And Web Builder With Bring-Your-Own Claude Or Codex Agents

Draftbit builds web, iOS and Android apps with drag-and-drop editing, live preview and AI agents that run on your own Claude Code or OpenAI Codex subscription. You can import, edit and export the full code, connect a GitHub repo with daily backups, and use any backend or the built-in Supabase backend (in beta). It lists more than 100 integrations and MCPs and says over 200,000 builders use it.

As of October 2026, the Free plan covers 3 projects and 3,000 one-time credits, with web publishing to a draftbit.dev address but no code export or app store publishing. Standard is $12 a month with code export, iOS, Android and web publishing, and 15 builds per seat a month. Pro is $24 a month with 30 builds and App Store submission help. It is a good fit for teams that expect to hand the code to developers later.

    • Visual editing for web, iOS and Android
    • AI agents using your own Claude Code or Codex account
    • Full code export with GitHub backups

    9. Lovable — Prompt-To-Web-App Builder With Built-In Cloud Backend And GitHub Sync

Lovable builds full-stack web apps, websites and internal tools from plain-language prompts. You describe the app, refine it in chat and deploy, while Lovable handles hosting, SSL and its built-in Cloud backend (database, storage, compute and realtime), plus authentication and payments. Projects sync two ways with GitHub, so a developer can work on the same code. Lovable says 1.2 million new projects are built on it every week. Unlike the visual builders above, it writes real code, which also means you should review what it generates; our guide to vibe coding security risks covers what to check.

As of October 2026, the Free plan gives 5 daily build credits (up to 30 a month), GitHub sync and publishing to up to 10 invited people per project. Pro starts at $25 a month ($21 annually) for 100 credits, with code editing and downloads and custom domains. Business starts at $50 a month ($42 annually) and adds SSO and role-based access. Credits run out faster on large changes, so budget for higher tiers on active projects.

    • Full-stack web apps generated from prompts
    • Built-in Cloud backend, auth and payments
    • Two-way GitHub sync and code download on paid plans

    10. Bolt — StackBlitz AI App Builder With Expo Mobile Support And Bolt Cloud Hosting

Bolt, run by StackBlitz, builds websites, web apps and prototypes from chat. Bolt Cloud adds hosting, custom domains and a built-in database, and projects can be downloaded or synced to GitHub. For mobile, Bolt builds Expo projects that you preview on your phone through Expo Go. Publishing to the App Store or Google Play means downloading the code and running Expo’s EAS build tools, plus Apple and Google developer accounts, so the last step is not no-code.

As of October 2026, the Free plan includes 1M tokens a month (300K a day), hosting and unlimited databases, with Bolt branding on sites. Pro is $18 a month billed annually with 10M tokens and custom domains, and Teams is $27 per member a month billed annually. We compare it head to head in Lovable vs Bolt.

    • Web apps and sites generated from chat
    • Bolt Cloud hosting, domains and database
    • Expo-based mobile apps with on-device preview

How To Choose A No-Code App Builder

Do You Need A Web App Or A Native Mobile App?

Decide this first, because it removes half the list. If users must download your app from the App Store or Google Play, look at FlutterFlow, Adalo, Thunkable, Draftbit or Bubble’s mobile editor, and check which plan includes store publishing. If a browser app or installable PWA is enough, Bubble, Softr, Glide, Lovable and Bolt are simpler and cheaper to run. Remember that Apple and Google charge their own developer fees on top of any plan.

Where Will Your Data And Backend Live?

Internal tools usually start from data you already have, which favors Glide, Softr and AppSheet with their spreadsheet and SQL connectors. Customer products need a real database, authentication and permissions: Bubble, Adalo and Lovable include one, while FlutterFlow relies on Firebase or Supabase that you set up and pay for separately. Check record limits on free and entry plans before you import anything.

How Does The Pricing Model Scale With Your Users?

The pricing units differ: AppSheet charges per user, Softr per app user tier, Bubble by workload units, and Lovable, Bolt and Thunkable by AI credits or tokens. Model your cost at 10 times your launch usage. A per-user tool that is cheap for a 20-person team gets expensive for a public app, and credit-based AI builders cost more when you iterate heavily.

Can You Export Your Code If You Leave?

Vendor lock-in is the biggest long-term risk. FlutterFlow, Draftbit, Lovable and Bolt let you export or sync code on the right plan, and Adalo lists source code export. Bubble, Glide, Softr and AppSheet keep your app on their platform, so moving later usually means a rebuild. If you expect to raise money or hire engineers, favor a tool with export.

Will It Hold Up When You Scale?

Look at team seats, branching, version history, role-based access and SSO, which usually sit on the higher tiers. Ask how performance limits are enforced (workload units, tokens or monthly runs) and what happens when you exceed them. If an app outgrows its builder, specialist no-code agencies can help you optimize it or plan a migration.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What Is The Best Free No-Code App Builder?

Every tool on this list has a free plan, but most free plans limit publishing. FlutterFlow, Draftbit and Bolt let you publish to the web for free, Lovable lets you share with up to 10 invited people per project, and AppSheet allows up to 10 test users. Bubble and Glide are free to build on, but going live requires a paid plan.

Can You Build A Mobile App Without Coding?

Yes. FlutterFlow, Adalo, Thunkable, Draftbit and Bubble all publish native iOS and Android apps from a visual or prompt-based editor. You still need an Apple Developer account and a Google Play developer account to release in the stores.

What Is The Difference Between No-Code Builders And AI App Builders?

Classic no-code builders such as Bubble and Glide store your app as a visual model you edit with menus and drag-and-drop. AI app builders such as Lovable and Bolt generate real code from prompts, which you can export but may need a developer to maintain. The line is blurring, since most classic builders now add AI generation too. Our roundup of the best vibe coding tools covers the AI side in more depth.

What Are The Limits Of No-Code App Builders?

Highly custom features, complex logic, heavy traffic and strict compliance needs are where no-code tools strain. Costs can rise with users or usage, and apps built on platforms without code export are hard to move.

    Conclusion

For a full web product with a built-in backend, Bubble is still the broadest option. For native mobile apps with code you own, FlutterFlow and Draftbit lead, with Adalo and Thunkable as simpler alternatives. For internal tools on data you already have, Glide, Softr and AppSheet are faster to set up. Lovable and Bolt suit founders who want working code from a prompt and are ready to review it.

Start on a free plan, build one real screen with your own data, and check the price at your expected user count before you commit.
