    Common questions

How do I choose a Microsoft Azure partner?

Start with the work you need done: a migration, ongoing managed services, data and AI, Dynamics 365 or Microsoft 365. Then shortlist partners whose verified Microsoft designations and case studies match that work, ask who will staff the project, and check references from companies your size.

What is the difference between an Azure consultant and an Azure managed service provider?

A consultant runs projects with a start and end, such as an assessment, a landing zone build or a migration. A managed service provider runs your environment day to day, with monitoring, patching, backup, cost control and support under a monthly contract. Many firms offer both.

    Do Microsoft partner designations matter?

They are a useful first filter. Solutions Partner designations show that a partner has met Microsoft’s thresholds for certified staff, customer deployments and customer success in an area. They do not tell you whether the partner fits your industry or project size, so check case studies and references too.

How do you rank the firms on these lists?

Our editors review each firm’s Microsoft-related services, verified designations and specializations, team focus, published case studies and client feedback. Sponsored placements are always labeled.
