Elliott Broidy is an entrepreneur who, over a career of more than four decades, has founded, built, invested in, and in many cases managed as CEO more than 160 companies.
Broidy is Chairman and CEO of Broidy Capital Holdings, LLC, a private equity firm specializing in AI-driven public safety software, homeland security, and law enforcement technology. He is also Founder and Managing Partner of Threat Deterrence Capital Holdings, LLC and LEO Technologies Holdings, LLC, and serves as Chairman and CEO of cynapse.ai.
Earlier in his career, Broidy served as a Managing Director at Bell Enterprises, where he worked across a wide range of investments, including marketable securities, real estate, and private equity. He began his career at Arthur Andersen & Co.
Throughout his career, Broidy has maintained a longstanding commitment to public service and philanthropy. He was appointed by Secretary Michael Chertoff to the United States Homeland Security Council, served on the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Police Foundation, and was appointed by President George W. Bush to serve on the Board of Trustees of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.
Broidy is a Trustee of the Simon Wiesenthal Center and previously served as a Commissioner of the Los Angeles City Fire and Police Pension Fund.
His philanthropic work has focused on education, public safety, Holocaust remembrance, and combating antisemitism. He helped the Counter Extremism Project acquire the former home of Auschwitz commandant Rudolf Höss, transforming it into the Auschwitz Research Center on Hate, Extremism, and Radicalization – ARCHER at House 88. Broidy also acquired an original architectural drawing of the Auschwitz-Birkenau crematoria, which he intends to preserve and exhibit for educational purposes to help future generations better understand the Holocaust and the dangers of hatred and extremism.
Broidy is a recipient of the Raoul Wallenberg Award and has been honored by the Israel-American Chamber of Commerce and the American-Israel Friendship League. He received the Visionary Award on Capitol Hill for his leadership in supporting Jewish causes, combating antisemitism, and advancing public safety.
Broidy is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from the University of Southern California.
